The 2024 Blackout Affair is being hosted by the Rising Star Educational Foundation (501c3) for the benefit of Lambda Omega Sigma Alumnae Chapter’s scholarship & philanthropic initiatives.
ENCOURAGING EVERY GIRL TO BE A SHINING STAR: Â The mission of the Rising Star Educational Foundation is to ensure that girls have access to educational opportunities by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will attend colleges and universities, hosting seminars and workshops that promote positive relationship building, implementing programs and activities that encourage girls to stay in school, and teaching financial literacy.
